Temporary structure on my lot(s)
Can I put a mobile home, trailer or temporary structure on my lot(s) until I am ready to build or during construction?
Per our Declaration of Restrictions [Section 19 (p) ], no house trailers shall be allowed on any of the lots nor shall any temporary residence be erected or any residence occupied until completed.
What school district is Moonlight Ranch part of?
Our children and teenagers attend schools in De Soto, Kansas, as part of USD #232. There is a bus stop designated at the entrance of Moonlight Ranch and the schools are within 8.5 miles or 16 minutes from our community.
Where can I park my RV, boat or trailer?
Per our Declaration of Restrictions [Section 11], no recreational vehicles, trailers, buses, campers or boats may be stored or parked outside of an enclosed garage on any portion of the lots for longer than two hours without prior written approval by the governing BOD.
What are the annual HOA lot assessment fees
What are the annual HOA lot assessment fees for residents and property owners in Moonlight Ranch?
Per our Homes Association Declarations [Section 5.1], an annual assessment is levied by the Association from year to year and shall be paid by the respective owners of all of the enumerated lots within the boundaries of the district in an amount not less than $396 and collected prior to June 1st of each year.
How do I open the front gate?
I am visiting a friend in Moonlight Ranch. How do I open the front gate?
Every resident of Moonlight Ranch is listed alphabetically by last name in our gate box Telephone Entry System. Press the letter (A or Z) closest to the resident’s last name until their name is highlighted and then press the “CALL” button to ring their home phone. The resident can then activate the gate remotely to grant you access. In addition, all lot owners and residents have a five key gate access code that begins with the “#” sign followed by four digits. The resident will have to provide this code to you.
Where will I get mail?
Each resident receives a key to a numbered slot in our community mailbox located halfway down Silver Wraith Drive at the South end of the pond and community green space.
Are pets allowed?
Almost every resident in Moonlight Ranch is a pet owner. We welcome all common domestic pets. Per our Declaration of Restrictions [Section 7], no more than 6 domestic birds, 2 dogs, 2 cats or combination of 1 dog and 1 cat and no wild animals or reptiles may kept or maintained on any of the lots without prior written approval by the governing BOD.
